Well yeah, this is an old one of mine...and it was also done on MSpaint. I didn't think it looked to good around that area also

Hm, I like the detail you focused on with the finger and the skin between the thumb and actual hand... but I think you lost a little form in that area, maybe give it some more light-shading if you feel up to it.
